Synopsis

Shout and Crunch are "midnight dumpster".

One day they meet a 16-year-old witch named Makina who came to London for witch training for a year.

She asks them to find a way to dispose her “grimoire-witch’s book” because she wants to be a normal teenage girl instead of a witch.

However, it turned out that throwing away the book is not an easy task.

Makina MALKUTH

Borned in a noble witch family, she is a 16-year-old modern witch girl. She wishes to abandon her magical power and become a normal teenage girl.

Their job is to take all “the hardest garbage in the world to be abandoned”, such as a health appliance that has been used once, sneakers that are too worn to be worn, a number of ex-girlfriends and a chat history with mistress, etc.

Shout

He is a gentleman who supports Makina with his rigorous samurai spirit. He is good at modifying machines.

Crunch

He is a silent and gentle hacker who writes the program of crazy train all by himself.

Magic=a character.
For Makina who is born and educated as a witch, magic is a part of her character. However, wishing to become an ordinary girl, Makina starts a journey with her companions to abandon her magical power. Eventually she accepts her true self and begins to grow up.

Abandoning the magical power represents young adults’ mentality to deny their origins or cultures. It seems as if they are afraid of being isolated in a community and rather choose to abandon their characters and become someone like anyone else.

This piece of work will depict how young adults grow up by recognizing both one’s character and the diversity of individuals.
